Train in the Rain

The last 5 times I've visited the coast, it has been raining. I guess I should be used to that by now. I have to say though, it makes for some great photos.

Hidden Beach

This beach was a huge part of my childhood as my family spent time building the stairs that led down to it. Lots of love in this place!

Cape Kiawanda

This place is truly beautiful. It's like no other beach I had ever seen before!

Garibaldi Pier

I spotted this little building while driving down the coast and just had to stop for a photograph. There were about 20 people throwing their crab-pots from the little pier, although it didn't look like any were having luck.

Jetty Pier

I loved the colors that were along this pier, and how everything was symmetrical.

Jetty Fishery

This place was so odd-right off 99 is a tiny community for people to go out fishing and crabbing, each a cheap dinner and buy flowers. It felt almost disconnected from the rest of the world, and it was so interesting because of that.

Heceta Beach

This was taken around 7 am, and all I had was flip flops for some reason. I took one photo before I started freezing.

Horsetail Falls

Mt. Hood

I grew up on Mt. Hood and I had never quite seen it like this. One of my favorite shots by far, composed of over 30 photos stitched together.

St. John's Bridge
